Andrea Balency is a Franco-Mexican artist, singer, instrumentalist and producer who makes experimental soundscapes that are hypnotic, sensitive, and occasionally strangely alien. Between touring and performing with James Blake, Au Revoir Simone, Mount Kimbie, adn The Cure she’s provided guest vocals for FKA Twigs and Airhead. It goes without saying that at Good Good Girl we were pretty stoked when she wanted to make us a special Sunday mix tape. If this doesn’t chill you out and inspire you for the week ahead, we’re bummed to say nothing will.
Andrea herself described the selection as, “‘I usually just go to my studio and work on Sundays. This mix is a selection of music that I listen to to get into it before I start writing or recording.”
